How do you like my double chin? :))

These were taken a while back when we were on our way to grab some dinner before a movie. I love doing takeaways together because it is never going home with just a bowl of noodles or a packet of rice or a burger each. It is buying home a bowl of noodles and a packet of rice and two burgers and chicken drumlets and some fries and a dessert, all laid out on the dining table for us to share. Most of the time we end up lying in bed with our bloated bellies, with me complaining that I shouldn't have eaten so much, and him telling me that I can eat whatever I want.

BLUEBELLE

Did an advert for Bluebelle recently, and here's the Natalie Bandage Dress that I picked:

Super flattering bandage dress that hugs in all the right places. ;) Very impressed with the quality as well, though the dress is quite heavy. If bandages dresses are not your thing, ramp up the volume with their vintage-inspired range featuring full skirts!

Melt - The World Cafe / Updates

This year, we decided to celebrate S' birthday with a buffet dinner, since he loves variety when it comes to food! We were torn between Carousel and Melt, and decided on the latter mainly because of the barbecue menu. We called to enquire, and found out to our dismay that it is only available from Thursday to Saturday. What a bummer because it was a Sunday. We went ahead anyway, and no regrets - we ate to our hearts' content!

There was quite a crowd during dinner, so we decided to choose a quieter able away from the other people.

IMG_0739
Of all the dishes available, I went for this serving after serving. Very sweet and fresh!

IMG_0735
The lobsters were not bad too!

A pity I don't like mussels and oysters. Never dared to give them a try because they don't even look good.

IMG_0751
Prime Rib! :9

IMG_0750
Salmon En Croûte.

IMG_0752
The Wanton Mee station. Apparently they were only serving the soup version, but prepared the dry one upon S' request! I wouldn't have gone for a serving on my own accord because why would I waste my appetite on such a common dish? Turned out I was wrong again - it actually tasted better than many out there.

IMG_0747
I really liked the Tandoori chicken! Indian food is so full of flavour! I love!

IMG_0748
Naan station.

IMG_0749
Naan, with saffron rice which wasn't very fragrant. I prefer Biryani! Oh and I always thought that it was spelt as Briyani. :/

IMG_0746
Didn't get to try most of these because I was saving space for other food.

I don't eat mussels but I loved the sauce! Perfect with bread!!!

IMG_0742
I don't even think I ate anything from here because I was saving space again! Buffets are really wasted on me....

Antipasti that I didn't try as well. -__- Ok prior to this blogpost I didn't know that antipasto means "before the meal", and is the traditional first course of an Italian meal. I ALWAYS read it as antipasta I don't know why??? And I just conveniently assumed that it's called antipasta because there's obviously no pasta and it's for people who wanna cut down on the carbs. Ha ha ignoramus.

IMG_0727
I never ever go for salads at a buffet because why would you.

Only went for the sashimi because the rest didn't look appetizing enough.

Fondues always excite me. But why you build me up to watch me fall? T_T Many fondues are just average, and this was no exception.

Waffle station.

Yay! Desserts! I actually went for desserts after the first serving of food because I couldn't wait!

Financiers, my new found love.

IMG_0718
These rose financiers were my favourite desserts of the night. I had so many of them!

IMG_0721

The bill came up to around S$100 per pax, not cheap, but worth the try once in a while! ;) We were quite impressed with the spread, and definitely saving up for another buffet~

What we did when we were waiting for the buffet to start:

I forced him to take a tourist shot.

Reluctant.

:D :D :D Why blogger no emoji? :( Speaking of blogging and emoji, I really don't know if I should start blogging on Dayre. For a proper blog post I would prefer working on my laptop, but for random updates, doing it on the phone is definitely more convenient. Dilemma...

Some updates:
1. I had fast food thrice this week already. I'm recently obsessed with double cheese burger, quarter pounder, and the drumlets from macs. Can't decide which drumlets I like more: Pizza Hut's or McDonald's?

2. I hope it doesn't show that I haven't ran in almost month! Laziness has taken its toll on me. I really need to start again but I am so unmotivated! The closest thing to a workout was walking in my 5-inch heels for 4 entire afternoons. Quite effortful y'know??

3. Planning to do a video on my daily make up products, since quite a few people have been asking me about it. Let's see how it goes?
